It does hence why other areas of it are a bit of a mess. We're only out there for a few hours on certain days of the week so it's impossible to look after it all.
Very little of it is any of my doing anyway. The missus and Nazarena our helper do most of it. I just do the easy jobs like cut the grass.

Wonderful! I think that the heavy rainfalls of this summer really helped with gardening! I have started to rinse plants greens at night for extra humidity as the sun is very hot during the day.
I was given a baby orchid from Misiones for my birthday one year ago, and it is surviving (but not thriving). I have tied it to the grapefruit tree as it is the only bark we have on the terrace and luckily it has survived, but I feel it requires extra care. My indoor fern is doing poorly despite my efforts to keep it humid, though!

Out at the quinta today to cut the grass when I noticed these fungi. They must be quick growing as they weren't there on Thursday.

Many mushrooms appear, full-grown, overnight. To me, this is one of the delights of nature!

The avocados are starting to fall. Picked these ones off the ground this morning before the dogs got 'em.

Avocados here are selling for US $1 - $2.50 here. What about in Argentina?

Think the missus saw them for sale at $1000 each last week.

They look perfect. An Avocado tree must be great to contribute to meals. It was already there, or you planted?

We have several all grown from seed. First one is around 15 years old and about 10 metres tall. It hasn't fruited at all well this year.

I hope you get a good crop! If you have so many that you can’t possibly use them all, just put a sign outside saying “will trade avocados for beer.”

Impressive to have grown a full tree from seed. Nice to have those even with a lower yield crop.
