As much as many dislike the fact, we better get used to Trump for the next 4 years, i have no problem with him considering the opposition

@Mckenna , is there any candidate other than trump that you could have supported?

There must be powerful ways to normalize abnormal behavior and to excuse dereliction of duty, but no way to excuse making the same mistake twice.

After watching this slowed-down, doctored video, I wondered why people even bother to spread them. Surely they’ve seen the same thing done with their Dear Leader’s own speeches? I have, and as much as I loathe him, I’d never post one because it would make ME someone’s dupe for falling for it and stooping that low.
I’m surprised to see it here.

I found it quite humorous actually.

Yes. Hilarious. When not viewed in the context of intent to undermine one’s opponent among people who might actually take this as proof that Biden, as trump begs us to believe, is a bumbling, senile nincompoop. (To wit: gullible readers’ comments about “this clown”)
Unfortunately, this IS the context, and the stakes are too high, for the world.
Just another form of pre-election propaganda, badly disguised for the gullible as “humor.”

If Argentina could muster a credible opponent to CFK and Kirchnerism, and Argentina had a real chance to rid itself of a regime that is corrupt to the core, how funny would it be if otherwise thinking people sabotaged that candidate by helping K lies about him go viral?
For the first time in its history, the USA has put itself under the thumb of an autocratic leader who is doing his best to dismantle the institutions of government. Freedom-loving people in every country should hope that he is not successful.
Here’s the problem with unwittingly disseminating disinformation and misleading impressions: Uncontrollable, exponential spread of complete untruths.
“Last week, a political action committee called the American Principles Project unveiled a new video on Twitter falsely claiming that Democratic presidential nominee Joseph R. Biden Jr. supported sex changes for 8-year-olds.
Since Friday, a similar video has also appeared on Facebook as many as 100,000 times — primarily in Michigan, a swing state in the Nov. 3 election.
What has been harder to pinpoint is how widely the video has been spreading through text messages.
Though companies like Facebook and Twitter have developed tools for tracking and policing disinformation on their social networks, texting activity is largely a free-for-all that receives little scrutiny from tech companies and government regulators.
“There is no way to audit this,” said Jacob Gursky, a research associate at the University of Texas at Austin. “Organizations are just collecting cellphone numbers from data brokers and mass-texting people.”

Humorous?

Point taken.
Biden appears to be 9 points ahead of Trump in the polls, at least according to the BBC.

That's a great question and I was just commenting over dinner that the opposition is too scattered: there is Macri who is MIA most of the time, Bullrich who is our iron lady, but too extreme to appeal the moderate fringe of the opposition, Larreta who seems to be the only politician there who is able to mediate and make things happen. However, he is 'just' the City Governor and he isn't definitely being pumped as the next man. Vidal, nice girl, reliable, solid principles, but with not enough political traction to succeed. I still can't explain the terrible results she got in her last election.
Meanwhile, rumors of a summer with electrical cut offs 'Cristins-style' are already in the air...

If one of them were willing to put themselves out there and start now to build a stronger following over the next 3 years, to help save the country from itself and its toxic leaders, I would hope all who actually give a damn would help build that person up, and would refrain from spreading social media ridicule with K-supporter origins.
I have the same expectation of all who give a damn about the election of the president of the USA.

The Admiral makes an excellent case.

The government and military officials who have shamefully remained silent in the face of the massive corruption they have witnessed firsthand, have three days to redeem themselves by speaking up.

Looks as if the walking dead bloke will be the next President. Two years max before he finds it too hard going?

There are those who prefer tRump over any other choices because of his entertainment value. Especially those in other countries who are outside observers.
But others, particularly in Argentina, know the deadly effect of an authoritarian head of state who is in it for their own personal gain.
Here is a glimpse into his cheating past. I ask you: were you a taxpayer picking up his part of the tab, would you still think this man could ever repress your interests or that of your country?

Yeah these sort of stories are pretty common during election time. I've no idea which party the NY Times supports but I have a good idea.

Do you think the New York Times is guilty of tabloid journalism, then?

It's one sided journalism. Which is fine by me if they can prove he's broken the law and he's made to pay. Do you see that happening?
