I’m thinking of switching.
Gentoo works like a charm on my old PC's!!! It is not a bloated install of Linux, unlike Linux Mint and Ubuntu!!!!

Or she could use Flyby11, if the laptop is not compatible with W11, and do the upgrade herself or keep W10, as long as she wants and dual-boot with Linux Mint or trash Windows, and use Linux.

Although, I do still run XP on one old Dell desktop, just to run my older games but it also boots Linux EndeavourOS!!!
