Never was a big fan......

Yes indeed. Must admit, I don't bother with the concentrated tomato sauce though.

For breakfast, in the UK, a damn good one! Ketchup has lots of sugar, which is why it tastes damn good. Too bad, because tomato sauce has very little calories.

HP Sauce.
Never seen it for sale in Argentina, in a shop or online. It's too hard to make so was wondering if anything along similar lines can be bought here. It'll never be the same of course but something even half as close would be better than nowt.

Indeed. I'd rather taste it first before splashing out that amount of cash.

HP sauce that we know and love has been made in the Netherlands for some time.
You have to be careful if you are in the States as there is also one made in Canada - the Canadian one doesn't taste the same.
But they also import the European version , if you can find it. I am talking to a food wholesaler in Florida to see if I can get a few bottles in April when I have to do a quick work trip. The food wholesaler is a Lancashire lass , so I trust her judgement.

Can’t find in Chinatown?
I've been looking at the New Garden site...no idea if they're Chinese or not. They have A1 and Lea and Perrins but no HP.

I’ve bought unusual things at New Garden on Charcas. I don’t think they are Chinese - different atmosphere. Bright lights, open aisles, shelves not crowded, etc. Very nice place.
