Classy act. I don't understand the issue with the K. Jenner cameo.

Blackfishing - someone pretending to be black.

Besides the fact that I don't have any knowledge about K. Jenner's background and when I read the name I thought she was his father ...
If the lead singer - who is black - invited K. Jenner and was okay with her appearance, I don't see any issue.
I thought the big divide was between whites and the rest... I can't tell if she looks like a black woman, a latinx or Arabic... surely she doesn't look white to me. Mediterranean, maybe?
I guess skin color is too subjective to be universally categorized.
AP will capitalize black but not white and the NYT followed suit.

I don't think a white girl being in the video is the problem. If it had been pasty ginger kid from year 10, no-one would care. I think the controversy, which I don't subscribe to, is that Jenner spends her time and money trying to look black. People say her various surgeries have been in pursuit of a "black body" whatever that means and that she acts, dresses, and does her hair like a black person. So, it's her whole lifestyle of apparent cultural approriation that has angered people.
Let's be clear, this is just another SJW thing were a small pocket of people got riled up because they had noting better to do on a Tuesday. The problem is today, this very small minority of idiots are the most vocal because they have the mass media running scared. At some point the tide will turn and they will be sent back to their silent corners to decide if they want to be called zhe, te, or they. This will only happen when more people start saying "no! Enough of your bullshit".
At the moment, they are chasing low hanging fruit and the cancel culture is happening. However, more people are starting to fight back. If you are not a racist, get called a racist, and just say no I am not one, these people go away. Problem is there are only some people in a position to be able to do this and not take the heat from the cancel culture. It will take a while, but it will reach a saturation point and companies will start ignoring these calls "so and so is a racist, you must sack them". When people's jobs are no longer in danger the fight back against far left idiots will commence. To me, it will be just as sweet as seeing a Nazi's point of view dismantled and removed from discourse. These far left idiots have no place in the public conversation, but we are giving it to them.
Edit to add this is no particular defence of Kylie Jenner, who is a massive problem in her own right.

Why? Because she's the one posing last year next to a dead lion that she had shot and she also claims to be a vegan.

He [Mick Jagger] can still strut his stuff and in those days he was revolutionary.
NYT interviewed Jann Wenner, founder of Rolling Stone magazine.
“In one Rolling Stone cover story, Mr. Jagger said he did not want to be singing “Satisfaction” when he was 42. He’s singing it at 79.
“Now they’re older and Keith has certainly slowed down,” Mr. Wenner said. “Mick is still a miracle, but he’s so old looking.”
“I don’t mind," Mr. Wenner added, “but they look like people out of ‘Lord of the Rings’ or something.”

Also - asked what music he’d want on a desert island, Jann Wenner listed these:
“Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” by Nina Simone.
“Speedway at Nazareth” by Mark Knopfler.
“The Ghost of Tom Joad” by Bruce Springsteen.
“Moondance” by Van Morrison.
“I’ve Been Loving You Too Long” by Otis Redding.
“Desolation Row” by Bob Dylan.
“Crying” by Roy Orbison.
“Think” by Aretha Franklin.
“Beautiful Day,” by U2.
“Under My Thumb,” by the Stones.
“Imagine,” by John Lennon.

I was never really a Rolling Stones fan, although I did have to endure some of Mick Jagger songs when he sang with the "Animals"
especially "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place". I think every C&C in Vietnam. whom may have had a loudspeaker wired, in their chopper, played that song,
I'm sure it must have driven "Charlie" crazy, but I never did that!!!!
I was more a "CCR" fan, and when I was 12 or 13, and got my first Sear's flattop guitar, drove my Mom crazy trying to play "I See A Bad Moon Rising"!!!! Move on from there to "Proud Mary", which was played in "D" tuned to the "E" position.

Was Sean Connery a chauvinist pig? Yes, very probably. But at least he was honest about it.
Slapping a woman? I don't think so, Sean, even as a last resort.
Do women always have to have the last word? And do they sometimes drill that needle in even further?
Yes, some do and at that point it's best to just walk away.

Sean was scared of his wife.
That is a fact.

I just love playing around with that thought.
