I think it was not a setup. Bad joke met with boorish behavior.

Bizzare all round, Smith laughing at the joke and then kicking off. His wife was not too pleased. Either it didn't understand what was said at first and was just laughing along with the crowd, or Jada's reaction sent him loco. Either way, just strolling up and slapping someone seems strange, especially as Chris Rock seemed to roll with it and actually took the slap well. He only gets flustered when Smith starts shouting. All I see is a bunch of morons doing moronic things.

My college lab partner lives in British Columbia. She has been keeping me up to date on this absurd situation. The popular and, by all accounts, extremely talented news anchor is in her 50’s. One of her predecessors was a man who was 77, and apparently not considered Over The Hill.

I think you’re right: most of the potential US audience doesn’t give a hoot about them or their publicly aired grievances.

The Ripple of Hope Award has been given by the Robert F Kennedy Foundation for the past 15 years, to business, entertainment, and activist leaders. In presenting this year’s award to the six recipients, the foundation president said that the couple had been “incredibly brave” in addressing and normalizing the discussion of mental health.

While I don’t know how significant the award is, the RFK foundation itself is a well-respected one. Recipients have included Vlodymyr Zelensky, Desmond Tutu, Harry Belafonte, George Clooney, and Barrack Obama.

The whole bloody lot of them come across as entitled.....The Big Family and Harry And Meghan.

Harry and Meghan seem to be honest enough though. Why make it up?

I have watched the whole 6 episodes. Harry comes across as very genuine and hands down, a nice chap. Meghan is too perfect and too center-stage in every single frame to be fully credible. It seems a very elaborate scheme and I don't fully understand why they felt the urge to make a 6-episodes series about it after so little time. It feels quite opportunistic of them.

After all, nobody asked for their side of the story, they didn't owe an explanation to anybody and it would only harm his family to no benefit at all.

If you don't agree with your family and leave, just leave and get a life. I have ambivalent feelings about this series.

I also didn't like the continue recalls to Diana, as if they wanted to be on "team Diana" and reach the martyrdom while alive. They also called their daughter Lilibet when the relationship with Buckingham Palace was already on the edge. It doesn't make sense. They despise the Royal Family but still want to milk it through documentaries, books, interviews and newspaper articles.
