A group of Christians started a petition at change dot org to get Netflix to drop the TV show Good Omens. Except Good Omens was never on Netflix, but Amazon Prime.

Netflix and Prime then joined in the Internet banter...

    As did The Mary Sue

Good move to mock the stupidity of the petition by having fun with the BIGLY mistake.

Can't say I have. Then again I'm not a great telly watcher. It's been about forty years since I last watched an episode of Coronation Street. Seem to recall Albert Tatlock was chatting up Ena Sharples.

In a complete reversal of their Gone With The Wind roles, Miss Melanie far outlasted Miss Scarlett.

    Famous quotes...

Mayor: Callahan, I don't want anymore trouble like you had in the Fillmore district. Understand? That's my policy.
Harry Callahan: Yeah, well when an adult male chases a female with intent to commit rape, I shoot the bastard. That's my policy.
Mayor: Intent? How did you establish that?
Harry Callahan: When a naked man chases a woman in alley with a butcher knife, and a hard-on, I take it he's collecting for the Blue Cross.

Frank Drebin: Yes, well. When I see five weirdos dressed in togas stabbing a guy in the middle of the park in plain view of a hundred people, I shoot the bastards, that's my policy.

Mayor Barkley: That was a Shakespeare in the Park production of Julius Caesar, you moron! You killed five actors! Good ones!

Positive discrimination according to Sir Humphrey.

...and some commentary on Yes Minister from the writers. A must see, if you're a fan.

Must admit I was never an avid watcher of it. Having just watched the clips I still find it all a bit.....well boring.

    I am a Scot right enough. :)

Me too oddly enough. Everyone raved about it and so I took a peek on YouTube and just didn't get it.

Thanks for the warning, UK Man !

I did read, a couple of weeks ago, that Netflix has committed millions to increasing its British content in the coming year. We are all for that. It seems that most of the series that we really like are generated by the BBC.
