As you will all notice, this forum software is significantly different to what we've all been used to using and in my opinion a big improvement.

Autosave - when you're writing a post, a draft will be saved every few seconds. Try it by writing something without sending it, then refresh your browser. Your post will be saved.

+Create Thread - start a new thread by clicking on the button up on the right. Quite handy.

Collapse the boards by clicking on the adjacent down arrow if you prefer clutter free.

I'll update this list as I introduce new features.

Added Tapatalk support so you can use the forum from the Tapatalk app on your mobile device.

I can confirm that Tapatalk works perfectly. When searching for this forum in the mobile app, put Argentina Expats Forum which differentiates it from the old forum.

Suggestion: When you hit a link, open it in a new tab.

    I'm looking into that T/.

It may well be browser dependent, although I may have to tweak a configuration in the forum software.

    I'll be back...

To change your mood, go to edit my profile, click on moods and select one of the three choices.

I've had to contact WoltLab support for that and should have a solution pretty soon.

    I'm thinking of adding 'indifferent'

Changed 'back to top' button that appears at the bottom of the page..the blue box with the arrow.

I've now set it to appear at the bottom left. If this is inconvenient, I can change it back to the right hand side.

Added media collection where videos open their respective players...YouTube, BBC, Vimeo etc

This allows you to copy a share link and paste it into a post and it will show the video/media in it's respective player.

For BBC videos, I had to click share>email, because the link provided in 'copy link' doesn't do anything, whereas the link that comes up when emailing the link is the full link.

    Make sense?

    ? Why not??

BTW - awesome that native emojis are supported

I (used to) do airline tickets, car rental, hotels, cruises, insurance, and all-inclusive packages.

If you want great service and low prices, look no further.
I also sell local SIM cards for several countries.

Much that I'd like to ignore Facebook et al, they are excellent tools for spreading the word about out new forum.

Having said that, paradoxically forums are places where your chats are somewhat more closed and a little more private, shall we say. Many people post stuff on forums that they wouldn't on FB. It's a style I personally prefer anyway; forums, I mean.

Yes, I've got a few more smileys to upload and the software does indeed support smiley code:bananadance:
