Anibal Fernandez, the stalwart Kirchner follower and often controversial figure is now embroiled in another scandal. The cartoonist, NIK, tweeted criticism about the government plans to pay for new fridges, end of school holidays for school leavers (egresados) and other vote bribery, to which Anibal replied, stating publicly where NIK's children go to school, naming that school and incorrectly stating that it receives a government subsidy.
Bearing in mind the appalling safety situation in this country, the Tweet was seen as a threat by the cartoonist with his children now afraid to go to school. Anibal, aka the walrus, has since deleted the Tweet.
