I’m curious, UK Man - - why do you always say you’re clueless about election candidates? Aren’t you interested in learning about the people who will potentially be running your town and the country, so you can have a say?

Surely it's black and white UK Man
NOT the governing party, ie, the Peronists/Kirchernites/PJ party.

Indeed....however as I made a pigs ear of it the last time she's going to make sure I do it properly this time.

Maybe you could take a list in with you.

I'll be better prepared this afternoon. A few months ago the missus said to me ''choose the blonde''. I went into the room and the table was full of leaflets with pictures of women with blonde/fair/tinted hair. As I couldn't remember which party I was supposed to pick I didn't choose any. I came out and told her I was expecting just to see pictures of the actual candidates not all their flippin' side-kicks as well!!

Hilarious! Thought: because you’re in Argentina long term and the policies do directly affect your life, maybe it’s time to do some political thinking/reading about the candidates / discussing with your wife?

In Argentina anything is possible!!
It was a surreal situation to be in....not what I was expecting. Alone in a poorly lit room with all these leaflets on a table. Hundreds of 'em and having no idea which to choose. After five minutes I just sealed my envelope empty, walked back out and shoved in the box. The missus asked me what the heck was I doing in there so long!!

… while the other election workers and observers were thinking “What a responsible voter! He is still carefully weighing his choice!”

All you had to do was pick up a paper that had the same colours as this. Unless you're a Kirchnerite of course.

Just got back from my electoral polling station in the capital.
OK , I have been out in the sticks for a while but my legal residence is still in CABA
My table was empty and I voted in less than 2 minutes.
On the way out I had another look at the Padron and I noticed that my table was the foreigners' table - mainly Chinees and a few Bolivians and Peruvians . I was the only Brit I could see.
Do the Chinese vote - do they know they can vote?
I only had a choice of five different lists in Caba - so Like my mate UK Man , I picked the list with the most blondes.

In the 2023 general election, if Cristina is paying attention, she will be a blonde.

All very straightfoward this time. My wife gave me the paper to put inside the envelope before I went in this time. The polling station was the same one as last time and is also for foreigners only. I was in and out quicker than I can spell piroxide.

Apparently CFK hasn't even voted, citing illness and she won't be at Albert's bunker either, the theory being that she leaves him stranded to take the blame for the probable defeat.

CFK just went through a hysterectomy - so no great surprise that she is resting at home. She couldn't even get on the government plane to vote in Santa Cruz.
