She's not doing anything for me I'm afraid. I like a challenge and Cinth looks too much of a cinch.
The missus told me last night I do have a vote this Sunday. Strangely, my voting place is nowhere near where she has to vote.

Good for Mrs. UK Man!
As for Cinthia Fernandez, my initial, visceral reaction was “good grief!” And the shimmy was far less disconcerting than the ropa interior. But after a minute, I realized that she isn’t as outrageous as at least one other Fernandez in government.

True....she might well be honest which is more than can be said for 'you know who'. I'd hate to see her bare bum.
Is she running unopposed? If not, what kind of campaign ads must her opponent be running?
😵💫
Voted and made a right pig's ear of it...the wife's fault for not coaching me properly!!
The government was given a big fat slap in the face yesterday and the same will happen in November for the mid-terms proper.
It's also worth noting that the official results didn't go public until nine o'clock last night, but the K party had already started dancing at eight.
This election gives a hint of hope, only hope, not Glory.
What happened, UK Man ?
She failed to tell me a) The name of the candidate and b) The name of the party they represented. On entering the voting room there was at least a dozen different voting slips to choose from. In the end I never chose any so sealed the envelope and put it in the box. Seems my 'vote' counts towards the chap who is the current chief so it's worked out alright.
My missus insists she told me to ''vote for the woman with the blonde hair''!!

Indeed....I told the missus not to get too excited yet. Her reply was ''don't be so negative''. I can't imagine why she thinks I'm being sceptical.

I’m all for making voting simple, but I’ve yet to see a ballot with photos of the candidates! (Would Cinthia be photographed in her ropa interior, I wonder?)
Carlos , could you please help me understand the PASO elections? I see that they differ from usual primary elections in that even parties with unopposed candidates are required to run, in order to qualify for the required 1.5% votes?
I am asking because I don’t know how optimistic to be, based on the good results of yesterday’s PASO.

They did where I voted. Their pictures and who they represented were spread out on two tables. You pick one up and shove it in the envelope you're given. If the missus had told me her name and the party she was in I'd have done it no problem. I didn't have my mobile which didn't help.
UK Man , you have actually rendered me speechless.
I took this picture at the last elections.
Yes that's exactly what it was like. I didn't have my reading glasses with me either which didn't help. 😄
In the end it didn't matter as the party candidate the wife wanted me to vote for won easily.

This election was like a rehearsal of the real election in November, and allows to choose inside each party the candidates. Some parties, like the Personist, did not allowed to do that to their partisans. Some others, like Juntos por el Cambio (Together for the changement) made a competition, in every district. My district was the Buenos Aires Province and there were 2 candidates. THe city of BA had three candidates.
But anyway is very difficult to change the trend. It not happened in 2018 with Macri, who lost the PASO and then also lost the real election, two months later. MOstly is a proof of the popularity of the present government, and due to the rude and gross mistakes they did, is very difficult to reverse the results.
In the final election, in November, there must be one group of representative per party.
Losing their majority in Congress will be a major victory and will reign in the power of this hopelessly inept government.
Thank you both!
BBC Mundo has published an excellent article on the K defeat and if you open it in Chrome, right click on a white space and then hit translate to English, if you prefer.
Nearly a dozen ministers resigned from the cabinet today, apparently pushed to do so by Cristina thus widening the gap between her and the president. But then wasn't that the plan all along?
We know she's the real power behind the throne, but is she going for the big one?
