Must admit I find the best part of visiting a museum is the tearoom.

Have you visited the cafe /restaurant at Pollok House ?
Brilliant wee place
Pollok House is one of Scotland's best museums and often ignored by many as its not in the city centre

Never visited it despite living within walking distance of it. Used to go to the Art Galleries just for the tearoom. Not a fan of museums although the old transport museum was always interesting.

Only 3kms from the city centre . Brilliant collection of Spanish art in Pollok House plus the Burrell Collection in a separate building

It is the home of San Juan de la Cruz by Salvador Dali . The painting was bought by the Glasgow Town Council in the late forties for about 50,000 Pounds ... what is it worth now?

I suspect it'll be considerably more....wouldn't surprise me if it fetched over 50 million. As you say we'll never know.

Iām going to the costume shop now, to find a disguise to help me avoid Glasgow police. Do you think a kilt and red beard would work?
Or perhaps you have in mind someone worthier of their attentions - -

My vote goes to Valencia, because it has the lowest cost of living and the best weather!
I would exclude Australia because it is very expensive, from what I am told.
I have never been to Copenhagen, but I guess the weather is not the best. However, I suppose you can move around by bike, which makes it livable... provided you can stand the cold!

Only been to two of them. Copenhagen a few times and Auckland.
If I had to choose one out of the six I'd go for Copenhagen as it doesn't get too hot and everyone seems to speak English.
