Heineken is going to increase its beer prices because of rising costs and this is what the CEO had to say

Dolf van den Brink, the brewer’s chief executive, told the Financial Times: “In my 24 years in the business I’ve never seen anything like it, not even close. Across the board we are faced with crazy increases. There’s no model that can handle this kind of inflation. It’s kind of off the charts.”
Off the charts? That's simply an excuse from a corporation with sales of £15 billion last year while its net profit jumped by 80% to £2 billion, not to mention the fact that more people were drinking at home last year due to the pandemic, as opposed to being in pubs.
Cynical or what? Mind you, with UK inflation having risen to 5.5%, most of us are probably smirking at that figure. You've never had it so good, as a famous ex British prime minister once said.
