Last night I watched The Ripper which recounts the story of The Yorkshire Ripper, a serial killer who began his reign of terror in 1975 in West Yorkshire and Manchester. I also know the area very well since my ex was from Huddersfield, terrified out of her wits at the time and having to be escorted by her dad and brother to the pub about 500 yards away. It really was that dangerous for women at that time.

The feminists of course painted it as a male chauvinist conspiracy (telling woman not to go out alone).

Last night we watched the first episode of Bridgerton and in the first 5 minutes I knew it was a dud.

Crap script, crap acting and the director decided to put Regency England into an inclusive, millennial woke-fest. Even the Queen is black in this shite.

Utter rubbish.

We'll give that a go tonight.
