Doesn't a map explain it all????
No it doesn't.

ok I help u kids....
The country is in lockdown.....most services not working as they used to.......might be delivering services work in capital, but I doubt that the frequency of transport hundred of kilometers away from capital is as usual......
So a map would have told u , Splinter lives closer to the city.....much closer....
It would also work the other way, if someone wanna order eggs from the farm next to UK Man , delivery in capital, I guess would also take a little longer!!!!
Are both of u drunk at 12 noon????

That (using a map) doesn't tell us which delivery services are working and which ones aren't. Anyway, with the correct authorisation - ddjj - any delivery service can operate almost anywhere.
obviously 90%of people are not using the delivery services to further out, due to the uncertainty of delivery time and so on...... no courier is gonna drive hundreds of kilometers with a pipe as only cargo.....
I'm only 100 miles away Jan....I used to cycled that distance in one day regularly.
I just find it strange some selelrs are still sending while others aren't. I susepct ot's only deliveries in the capital that are being made. No paint for me then.
From Olivos to UK Man's place (and back of course) is about 340 kms and if I use the most economical bike courier rate of say $10 per km, you're looking at a hefty price.
I'm not sure what ML robots are quoting and it would be interesting to know out of idle curiosity.
100 Miles on a bicycle is quite a bit!!!!
Keep in mind UK Man , seller and transport company aren't the same normally......so seller just sell, he dont give a fuck whether the delivery is done today or next year!!!! That's why I wouldn't trust buying anything from far away....
But now u got Splinter ....... hahaha.....he can't paddle back now......
I suspect it's ML who don't give a fuck rather than the seller.
What bugs me is ML saying that deliveries are normal, which they are not. It took five days for my baccy to travel 11kms, which was before I got the certificate.
It's also the first time ever that I've had stuff delivered as I always go to collect, bypassing ML if I can.
Here are some recent comments about this on the Tabaqueria Inglesa advert.
Which is why I think it's totally worthless to make business locally. People who are retarded to say at least, insult you for anything that doesn't suit their little brains.
There is a f*ing pandemia going on and they are ordering tobacco, which is not exactly a primary good. I've been called CHORRA by a f*ing illiterate who didn't read the instructions. It was a 7 USD business. Do you really think people scam for 7 USD on non-essential goods? Where have they lived so far? In a hut in Africa? What do they think I am gonna do with their 7 USD?! Buy a yacht or take a vacation in the Antilles?!
To be fair, the tobacconist has nothing to gain by screwing their customers, but ML's alleged normal delivery is a fucking joke. I kept receiving messages saying 'your order will be with you today' etc, but today didn't come until five days later.
I'm not risking another ML delivery and will collect stuff myself from now on, in that at least I can trust me.
I also realise that baccy is not essential, but once you're addicted...
the delivery thing is a bloody pain at the moment. I need some ink for the printer . Its the same story - will be with you in 3 days . I have cancelled orders...... as no one could give me a definite date .
The trick I always use is to see if the vendor gives any hint as their identity (you already know where they are) and if you really must pay through ML, select 'collect myself', then jump on the bike.
Alternatively, hire a friendly bike courier so you know you will definitely receive the goods.
Apart from the ridiculous p&p costs ML is very useful for us....and to be fair it does work well most of the time. However, the lockdown has shown them to be lacking. If I buy items I expect them to be delivered within the stated timeframe given for the item. Especially as the lockdown had been operating for well over a week before I purchased the first item.
I kind of feel sorry for the sellers. I get the impression they have to do what ML tell them.

Don't you have Staples nearby? anyway, starting tomorrow, computer shops are open but working closed-door, so you'll be safe!
I am not blaming smokers for wanting tobacco, I am blaming the buyer lack of empathy. In the middle of a pandemics, buying specialty tobacco, the first thing he thinks is that the seller is screwing him. A Seller that I imagine has a good reputation. And the seller didn't simply protest, but actively insulted the poor man.
The lock-down is hurting all businesses , large and small. Not just Mercado Libre
Right now , I dont think any courier or delivery company is running a full schedule.
Maybe next week things will change if SPRINTER EXPRESS gets up and running....

serafina , no Staples close to where we are . But hopefully delivery options will open up.
I think Staples ships, too! They also sell some junk food.
If all the local shops open with delivery tomorrow , its should be OK
