We are about to board the flight back to BsAs, and a sneak preview of video offerings suggests that we might get season two of Big Little Lies. We’ve been in suspense since the season one cliffhanger, so I’m guessing we’ll stay up all night to see the whole season.

Thank you! We can’t wait to get back. Although we MUST wait : after 2.5 hours without air conditioning on the plane while waiting to take off, we’ve now been deplaned so mechanics can work on the problem without passengers being sautéed. Expecting to be cold on the plane and also upon landing, we wore very warm clothes. It is 36 degrees Celsius outside in Atlanta, and certainly worse inside the hot plane filled with hot travelers. We expect to take off about 4 hours later than scheduled, and will undoubtedly make up some time in the air. Major benefit: will land at a more civilized hour, and will miss rush hour. On the other hand, we left New Orleans 12+ hrs ago and are still in Atlanta. Could have #%£!&! driven!

You’re both right!
All’s well that ends well. We arrived about 4 hours late, but at least that made us miss rush hour traffic; walked in the door just a little more than an hour after leaving EZE.
What’s more, we got sunshine today! And the murga on the plaza lasted only 90 minutes!

Love your title! Although you and I don’t seem to have much crossover in our movie taste, I enjoyed your analysis and criticism as well as personal comments. Your DCT columns are always interesting and often make us laugh out loud. We miss you series on the typical day of a computer repair guy!

I'm ruminating on a Day In The Life Of... as we speak.

Good! I think that you must be holding back some adventures you've had in the delivery business.
Have you been called on to deliver a baby yet?
-
-
Not yet, but the other day I had to collect someone's dirty washing. I kid you not.

You definitely need to start writing the next article.

Here's a handy guide for some horror films and series on Netflix.

Blast from the past: an article in La Nación reminded me of first discovering both Friends and Two and a Half Men, in Argentina in 2005, after the former had stopped production and the latter should have done.
All these years later, we have Argentine friends who are twenty-something and younger, who religiously watch and re-watch Friends, despite the dated touches like 3-kilo telephones and funny fashions.
Did any of you watch those or other US sitcom re-runs? (or do you still? Your secret is safe here -) -
-
Last year I watched Friends for the very first time.

What about 2.5 Men? ‘Fess up!

What about 2.5 Men? ‘Fess up!
It's not on Netflix but it is on Prime, so I'll give it a go after finishing The Walking Dead.
We tried the US version of The Office, but I didn't so much as guffaw once.

No, I couldn’t ever get into the US version of The Office, either.
The last few seasons of ‘Men’ were tired storyline reruns that relied more and more on raunchy humor. But the first few seasons were hilarious. -

So it's guffawable then?
