Luis D'Elia says Macri should be publicly shot in the Plaza de Mayo

The recently released from prison Luis D'Elia, in an interview on Canal 26, suggested that President Macri should be shot in front of the people in the Plaza de Mayo.

Of course, the self styled guru of obscene behaviour, rabble rousing and Kirchner devotee is renowned for his outrageous outbursts and quite correctly, the government have filed a criminal complaint against him.

I believe in a free society, but I don't believe in calling for the death of anyone publicly, least of all a sitting president and it's curious to watch the reaction of the interviewer when D'Elia spouts forth.

Is there really place in the news for people speaking like this? Aren't journalists at least a little responsible to give voice to these ignorant, violent and uncivilized people? It is like going to listed to what a hooligans leader has to say about politics.

This is a new age of incivility at best, violence at worst, in the words and actions of politicians.

When the leader of the free world leads chants of "Lock Her Up," referring to his political opponent, and directs his henchmen to "Throw him out of here" when someone protests, can we really expect that less powerful political leaders and activists would behave any better?

Luis D'Elia is my contryman. But I hate him, as well as Maradona. I am ashamed that these people would represent the archetype of the argentineans, to the observers of the world.

I always heard, traveling abroad, this phrase: Oh, you are coming from Argentina? The country of Maradona?
