I’m not talking about the video you posted, per se, Splinter. But haven’t you noticed all the negative reactions? She’s a young girl with Asperger’s Syndrome, overcoming her limitations to speak publicly about something she feels passionate about. And yet she is derided, from the president of the US on down. I just wonder why?

Jan got me thinking...
-
-
I got a Sat video, for once. I think it is very fitting. Brace yourself, folks. This is gonna be the most interesting weekend of the year.
-
-
But we don't want change! I'm going into deep denial here.
-
-
It would be a very welcome change if people who voted F/F in the PASO saw the light and changed their minds in favor of a future free of the K’s -
-
-
That's exactly what many pundits said after the primaries, when people would realise the truth of what would really happen.
Mind you, this could just be wishful thinking.
-
-
Let’s hope. Even if Macri wins, the task is Sisyphean. But with further stealing and pandering by the k’s, the uphill climb can’t even begin.
The better campaign slogan would have been “We have more work to do!”
edit - sorry for taking the topic off of Sat Vids. -
-
Let's be honest with each other here.
The best Macri can hope for is a second round in November and even that's a distant hope.
Or to put it another way, Wales have a better chance of beating S Africa tomorrow and then winning the Rugby World Cup next Sunday than Mauri making it across the finish line in first position.

Maybe it’s better to live in denial for another day than to face reality before it’s absolutely necessary to do so?

ai caramba.....
If macri manage it to the Paso, FARC will unmanage it......if FF wins Argentina is doomed for a loooong time, and many say also social unrest!!!!!! Sounds like a lose lose situation....
My real estate guy told me yesterday he doubt MM will finish his term if FF wins tomorrow.....
Everything is open......
If someone would have predicted a coup de etat in Chile a month ago, he would have been put in a mental hospital......
Now more or less its a fact.....
-
-
I'd be happy to live in denial tomorrow from approx 1315 to when the results come in, assisted of course by copious amounts of liquid lubrication.
-
-
Sounds like a plan to me......
Dont forget to stock before curfew!!!!!
Btw, Temple on corner gurruchaga/Costa Rica was open every time there was voting..... think they paid someone of!!!!

Thanks for the reminder. Heading to the wine store NOW.

Rain or no rain, that parrilla will be flaming tomorrow and cold beers (prepurchased) will be served.
-
-
Sounds like heaven!
-
-
maybe we can make the parilla on the burning barricades.....
I think rain n thunder around 21hs......
Hahaha.....
(Depending on if system works this time).
Argentina, don't let me down......I plan ahead, this I a big event, like the Oscars or whatever......I didn't prepare myself for a election in a Finnish village election!!!!
-
-
Finnish village election = lots of strong alcohol?
-
-
The one I would have in mind: amounts of votes = words spoken during day = bottles of vodka consumed = drunk fights, (no blood)
