Overview

In 1862, daredevil balloon pilot Amelia Wren teams up with pioneering meteorologist James Glaisher to advance human knowledge of the weather and fly higher than anyone in history.     The Aeronauts, about a weather scientist and a female balloon enthusiast who in 1862 rise up to 36,000 feet in a hot air balloon is entertaining and may induce vertigo attacks. The only disappointing aspect is that the female lead is based on multiple women characters and parts of the story just don't fit or have been included for a modern, inclusive audience. PC in other words. Starring Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones.
