I just spotted it om Google Maps, R11 on the way to Mar de las Pampas. We'd prefer to stick with La Proveeduria as being classier.

Yes , la Proveeduria is a great place to shop.
Did you try the huge Coto up on the main road?

We just go by colour. Like the oranges our grapefruit are very slow this year. They have colour but most are nowhere near ripe enough. To be honest they're not a great variety. Some are very pithy so I don't bother eating them. My wife has them either as they come with honey or juiced.

I keep getting the names of them mixed up. I don't like any of them. The missus buys the round green knobbly one as well.

I'd rather have the green squash instead of the butternut. I find it more flavorful and it reminds me of chestnuts.
Some Mardi Gras parties ago, @Rice gifted me a squash recipe book and there I found a super delicious squash recipe that I keep on making. I have tried it with the anco (picture by @UK Man ) and with the grene one - calabaza, which I find better.
One a curious note, in Spanish and Italian there is no generic term as "squash" in English. We tend to use a specific name…

Our pomelos blancos (white grapefruits) are also heavy loaded with fruits. They are not yet tipe, but it looks like they are going to be soon. I had read on the internet that we should roll a citric around its stem to know when it is ripe.
If the stem detaches from the fruit, the fruit is ready for consumption. If it stays, not yet. @UK Man may suggest a different crtieria to assess ripeness.

I think if your phone/PC is connected to the same network as your printer you don't need to use the WPS button. My problem was deleting the old printers details as it was automatically chosen to do the print jobs. Once I did that all was good.

My wife loves it roasted in the oven, sliced then topped with mozzarella. I'm not a fan.

Prison food! What a visual image. Maybe the San Isidro cafe could draw on this to get customers.
Maybe anco is resistant to bruising and makes the long journey with little spoilage?
I have to say that if I’m ever in prison I’d rather have butternut squash soup than bread & water!
