I use WhatsApp voice or text messaging if I have to contact someone. Always keep the message as short as possible and straight to the point.

[…] One of my favorite. I also like to make a thicker broth with the knee bone in with the osobuco. Since it has the cartilage. It becomes gelatinous when cool, but just liquid in the stew. Cheap or the same price as the shank. “Chiquizuela” or in my speak cheeky-zuela. My wife and I have had the same problem since last year although her more so than me as she still has spells of losing taste. She tested positive for Covid. Around July last year I suffered from the worst flu/cold I've ever had in my life. I wasn't tested for Covid but suspect that's what it was as I had a dry cough lasting for days. I reckon most people have had Covid without even knowing it.

Ever since I had a nasty bout of flu back in May, which coincided with me quitting smoking, I have no sense of taste or smell. Okay, maybe 10% of normal and I'm assured that it should come back, but nearly five months?? My wife thinks I may have had Covid because I did have fever for a couple of days, felt like shite and losing taste and smell is one of the after-effects. The only good thing is not being able to smell other smokers' smoke!

No need to go anywhere today so I've decided to make beef shank stew. Osoboco I think it's called here. The only time I made it before the missus stuck her nose up at the idea. However after hours of smelling it cooking it she decided to try some and ended up eating most of it!! :cursing:
