Splinter Well that would be great if Putin has been mugged off by one of his own type of tactics but even then it would sum to 10 innocent lives lost.
If Prigozhin was in fact killed, then yes, ten innocent people were killed, but considered by others to be expendable.
Given Putin's track record, nothing would be a surprise.
Accident? ...come on Splinter
If you had tried to get odds on this "accident" no decent bookie would have entertained you.
Obvio!

Data shows second plane flew towards Moscow
Some Russian Telegram channels have speculated that Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin might have been on a different plane to the one that crashed today.
The other jet, another Embraer 600, has a registration number RA-02748.
The plane's flight records are partially inaccessible through FlightRadar24, a popular aircraft tracking website.
But data shows it departed from St Petersburg earlier today and flew towards Moscow. The trail disappears near Ostafyevo airport in the Russian capital.
The BBC has been unable to confirm if he was on board.
Accident?
This is shocking
BBC News - Alexei Navalny: Russian opposition leader's jail term extended to 19 years
What is going on?
A key Putin lieutenant has been reported missing, just days after the high-profile assassination of a Russian former submarine commander. CNN's Nick Paton Walsh reports on the series of turbulent events rocking Russia's' top brass.
Wagner group has apparently turned back and heading back to the base.
Wouldnt be surprsed to hear if someone else is behind it all.
Like who?
Apparently Putler has fled to St. Petersburg in advance of the Wagner troops imminent arrival in Moscow.
A US Army general reckons that morale among Russian troops in Ukraine will be severely affected by what the Wagner group is up to and will question whether they would wish to be the last man killed in this war.
The general then went on to say that this could be a catalyst for a withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine and thence the end of the war.
I'd also like to know what the column of 2500 Wagner troops will do when it reaches Moscow. What is its intent?
Some useful links for live reports and live views of Moscow as Wagner approaches the city.
I for one was hoping that a coup in Russia could put a stop to this madness and so, over the last few months the Wagner group of mercenaries, backed and paid for by Putin himself, has become disgruntled due to lack of ammunition and clowns as generals.
Well, they finally turned on Putin and are occupying Russian military bases within Russia itself.
Is there any turning back for Wagner and its leader? He was once a hotdog salesman by the way.
QuoteYevgeny Prigozhin calls it his "March of Justice". Vladimir Putin says it is a "criminal escapade" and an "armed mutiny". One senior Russian commander has called it "a coup".
Whatever you call it, the Wagner chief has gone for broke to try to topple Russia's military leadership.
This had been brewing. For months there has been very public infighting between Wagner and Russia's ministry of defence over how the war in Ukraine has been fought.
Get back behind your wall, Roger.
Breaking news from the NYT just now:
European nations are investigating possible sabotage tied to suspicious leaks in two gas pipelines from Russia.
Tuesday, September 27, 2022 12:08 PM ET
Leaks in two pipelines running from Russia to Germany under the Baltic Sea caused a sudden drop in pressure on Monday, prompting the authorities in Germany, Denmark and Sweden to investigate. Sweden’s national seismic network said it detected two large undersea explosions on Monday near the leaks.
Wouldn't surprise me if it was the Ruskies.
I wonder if President Zelenskyy has heard this speech by Churchill. I imagine he has.
Sounds like propaganda for the masses.
Yes he would. If his world is crashing in, why shouldn’t everyone’s?
And it would be the ultimate show of power.
Not necessarily. I do think he's bluffing.
This is not a bluff says Putin, in reference to his willingness to use nuclear weapons if Russia's integrity is harmed.
Would he?
Q: Who is now the largest supplier of weapons to Ukraine?
A: Russia
You mean the Ukrainians take them from captured Ruskies?
Ukraine has made significant advances in the east of the country, retaking a lot of ground previously occupied by Russian forces. Let's hope this trend continues.
