I only had that with the first. She who gave me it was a bit on the rough side. I never felt a thing with the other two so I reckon they were more gentle with me.
I guess I’m a wimp. Had the booster at 2 pm yesterday, and by 10, I was starting to shiver. Piled on the eiderdown comforters and alternately chilled and burned up until around 7 am, when I finally got to sleep, and stayed asleep most of the day. The muscle and joint aching and the headaches are finally subsiding, as Splinter said, about 24 hours after this all started.
If the reaction to the vaccination is a tiny preview of what it is like to have even a very mild case of Covid, I definitely don’t want it.

As it's China we're talking about I doubt we'll ever know the real reason for it. I just hope it was an 'accident' and not something more sinister.
Adri had a bit of a turn yesterday when she arrived at Tecnopolis for her booster jab. Her blood pressure went haywire, rising very quickly and then falling just as fast. She got a nose bleed and her legs gave way, so the medics looked after her until we arrived to take her to hospital where they took a blood sample, did a cardiogram and other tests.
It was a frightening experience for her brought on by stress and heat, but she feels much better today. We can't thank the staff and medics at Tecnopolis and the Olivos Maipu hospital enough for their really prompt action.
Sorry to hear that...must have been very upsetting for her. My missus was also affected by the heat yesterday whereas I wasn't....and I'm the one who hates it most. I'm not usually a big water drinker but I drank a hell of a lot of it yesterday.
No idea, but I had my third jab yesterday (Pfizer) and I'm feeling pretty rough today. Still, it will pass by Friday and better than getting Covid.
After two Sputniks we got Astrazeneca for our third. The wife had the shivers that night whereas I had nothing worse than a dull pain around the injection area.
I can’t speak to the effectiveness of the Russian and Chinese vaccines offered in Argentina. But all over the US, people who have received 3 Pfizer or Moderna vaccines who do get breakthrough infections are not becoming hospitalized at the alarming rate of unvaccinated people.
The same everywhere thankfully.

What does the test involve?
Well I for one, vaxxed or not, do not want agents of the government knocking on my door to check on my status. What next? Have I been circumcised? Did I pay my car tax? Were my thoughts not correctly aligned?
It's the thin edge of the wedge for governments that already have too much power, especially now that they've taken it quite freely in light of the pandemic. Constitutional rights? Tell me another one.
If you've got nothing to hide then I don't see a problem. I wish they'd concentrate on doing something about the amount of dodgy road users who openly flout the law and get away with it.

What I would like to know is why people are refusing to be vaccinated? I can only think they're either screwballs or have something to hide? I suspect the latter.
Got our boosters today. As we were being led to the vaccination chamber Florencio Randazzo's brother crossed our path and told the lackey to ''take good care of us''. 
He knows my missus...she said he's just as big a tosser as his brother.

We haven't heard a dickie bird. Two same age group friends of the wife's were given dates to go for theirs. However they both had Astrazeneca for their two vaccinations whereas we had Sputnik. Maybe they don't know WTF to give us?
Nearly two years since the pandemic burst onto the scene, what is its current impact on your daily life? When and where do you wear a mask? Do you avoid certain forms of transportation or gatherings? Will your family’s 2021 holiday celebrations more closely resemble those of 2019 or 2020?
I didn't like having to wear a mask in the street especially in summer so was glad when that stopped. Unlikely we would have travelled anywhere during the last couple of years so that hasn't affected us. Never been great ones for socialising so not missed that at all...if anything it's worked to our advantage.
All in all it's not been too bad.
Where we are the situation in cases and deaths has improved. The hotel next door to my MIL that was being used for quarantine purposes hasn't had a 'guest' for several weeks now. Having said that I suspect judging by what's happened elsewhere in the world it's just a lull and they'll probably rise again.

She's alright now. I must admit although I didn't have any physical reaction to the second Sputnik dose I have felt a tad light headed today with some strange thoughts going through my mind. I wonder if the Russians are up to something....maybe they're using it as some sort of mind game? Anyway, as far as I know despite being fully vaccinated I'm unable to travel to the UK until the European MA as well as the WHO gives the vaccine its approval.
Tell her that she should be feeling decent by tonight. I’m so sorry she was smacked in the head by the vaccine!
She's been up and about for a while and been bossing me about so obviously back to her usual self.
I reckon she just used it as an excuse to have a lie in this morning.
About 12 hrs after my second dose (Moderna), I, too, had hard chills that continued throughout the night. My husband had no reaction to his shot. Afterwards, I read that chills and flu-like symptoms are not unusual with the second dose.
But now that I think about it, I don’t think I know any men who had a reaction….
She's having a lie-in as she had to get up at 5am to take an Ibuprofen. I've been filling myself with coffee and medialuna spread with dulce de leche so bugger all wrong with me. They do say smokers are less affected by the Covid as well as side effects of vaccinations.

The missus woke me up during the night due to her having a fit of shivering. She's blaming the vaccine whereas I feel fine. Her needle mark also showed a slight swelling compared to mine. If she starts doing floor exercises I'll know something isn't right!!
