I don't understand why it is so expensive to keep this forum alive.
Do you rent a specific platform/software, such as templates in Wordpress that have a monthly fee?
My business website is much cheaper, but obviously it is just a static page with a form and a chat feature. I can't understand the price gap between the forum's 400 USD/year and my website running costs which are around 150 USD/year.
I have bought my domain on namecheap, and I think it costs 15 USD/year. Then my hosting is through Wix. My current plan with Wix is Unlimited (no longer offer) which I bought during one of the many Wix campaigns (probably a 50% off if you paid 2 years in advance at 276 USD).
