Here's what Elvis would look like now....if you happen to be in Burger King.
OMG - - perch a dead squirrel on his head, and he would look just like trump! Maybe THAT’S where he went!

SpaceNut , I’m not sure it’s “the Americans” who have obsessions with famous performers, but, rather, rabid fans wherever they live.
I remember Beatlemania, which started in Liverpool.
And Splinter , I thought Elvis was seen last week, working at the Burger King in his hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi?
Ah, but now much improved by the added sophistication of experience, GlasgowJohn !
A variation on that is the clipped “I’m FINE,” delivered through tight lips, by a thoroughly pissed off woman when her guilt-induced man inquires “Are you OK?”
No thanks!
Similar eyes decades ago, but Adri didn’t ruin her face with desperation surgery!
Beyond the conflicting claims of who hit whom, I’m really astounded: isn’t a skiing accident just that - an accident?? If @splinter were barreling downhill and ran over the skis of @UK Man , who had paused to light his pipe, would they be suing each other??
Exactly. He chose to participate in the inane show in the first place.
I’ve thought some more about the video. Hugh Grant has made as his persona, a likeably bumbling but gracious, kind, and debonair Cary Grant type .
The oaf we saw in the video is counter to his carefully crafted image. Damaging to his brand.
The supermodel must have devoted more thought to her dress than to preparing for interviews.
But Hugh Grant came across as a prima donna who thought he was too important to stoop to the interview. She looked dumb and unprepared. But he looked like a complete jerk.
It will be interesting to see the updated version. Who doesn’t like John Cleese?
Had Harry’s editor cared less about selling more books, and cared just a tad about Harry’s dignity, she would have insisted that this incident be left out.
WHAAAAAT? Don’t those people have anything to do besides infighting, leaping into bed, and telling all?
The Ripple of Hope Award has been given by the Robert F Kennedy Foundation for the past 15 years, to business, entertainment, and activist leaders. In presenting this year’s award to the six recipients, the foundation president said that the couple had been “incredibly brave” in addressing and normalizing the discussion of mental health.
While I don’t know how significant the award is, the RFK foundation itself is a well-respected one. Recipients have included Vlodymyr Zelensky, Desmond Tutu, Harry Belafonte, George Clooney, and Barrack Obama.
I think you’re right: most of the potential US audience doesn’t give a hoot about them or their publicly aired grievances.
My college lab partner lives in British Columbia. She has been keeping me up to date on this absurd situation. The popular and, by all accounts, extremely talented news anchor is in her 50’s. One of her predecessors was a man who was 77, and apparently not considered Over The Hill.
If it was a setup, then Chris Rock will be censured by the Academy, along with Will Smith.
I think it was not a setup. Bad joke met with boorish behavior.
Complete decline of civility.
Before the film was released, was it edited out, or was it released with the car? 🤪
Why should he talk when Dustin Hoffman is there to do it for him?
