we are spoilt as 90% of the world speak english I would say? I always try and make the effort if i'm abroad, we used temple bar every othernight we was in palermo and the same waitor served us each time.....

My spanish is awful, but I tried and she spoke spanish back to me and if we got stuck we just pointed to the menu, then on the last night we said this is our last night and gave her a tip.... she then spoke perfectly good english and we had a conversation in english, I thought we have been here best part of 12 nights and now you speak english!? i'm pretty sure it was just for the giggles of a gringo trying to speak spanish.

I didnt mind, seem to of got the respect of the staff anyway as they always made an effort to say hello to us even if they was serving someone else

Could be locals after what happened?

coles from the store with firelighters to help it along, bbq isnt quite big enough for hardwood, we are using the chimchurri recipe from fogon asado!

weather is looking good for the weekend so going to fire up the bbq, going to try and cook chorizo up and make a few choripans,going to put some steak on the bbq, and some chicken aswell

We will make our own chimmichurri

it doesnt help locals renting out airbnbs which is jacking up the prices. Its similar in cornwall, just that the rich have second homes they never use
