It’s the gun culture that’s mainly responsible for the deaths

A lot more deaths and injuries occur everyday. The vast majority go unreported by the media

I haven’t heard of the need for a militia to be formed as said in the 2nd Amendment, but people seem to be hoarding guns like there’s going to be a world war

I saw a video on twitter in which a governor wants everyone to carry a pistol. It’s such a knee jerk reaction and it will only make matters worse, not better

Since his announcement that he expected to be indicted this past Tuesday, he has reportedly raised another $1.5 million from his duped followers.

Most people are ashamed of being arrested. This sociopath is incapable of shame. A potential arrest, instead, is just like every other life event: something that can wrest money out of other people, along with sympathy for this big bully.

Some people truly amaze me. I wouldn't even put a penny into a political party or person, such as in the States. But I guess there's enough stupid people willing to do that, especially in these times of need towards their family

I guess so, it must be a power and ego trip for him. I don't know how many turned out because none of the media are reporting the turnout, but I assume that at least a few of them did

Exactly, they even take him to be a god above god

I don't get how arresting him will a/ make him win a landslide, or b/ a martyr, but that's Elon Musk for you, somehow a political expert overnight

Which is rich considering. My missus rigorously checks every receipt she gets before leaving any supermarket. Last week in Dia she spotted she'd been charged three times for the same bag of tomatoes. And it's not the first time this same female has been pulled up by the missus.

They'll do it regardless whether anyone is honest, not saying anything about your wife. So in reality, it isn't rich, just that some people are dishonest. This happens across the world, not just UK

People over here are known to walk out with items they haven’t paid for

If it’s your first time, they’ll likely check to see if you’re being honest. Not saying you’re not, but a lot of people are not honest or not used to self checkouts. Even I’ve accidentally not scanned an item when I did it

If you’re going to do it regularly, they will check you randomly either on a weekly to monthly basis

Its not just the BBC in general, but journalists should be impartial, whether they have the right to free speech, or in some cases, not. I know its impossible to be impartial in a dictatorship, because most are doing a job.

Unfortunately, in a dictatorship, they have to go along what the dictator says

I don’t want the bbc to end up like Fox News, where they are free to say anything about anyone, carte blanche. This is why I would prefer journalists not to be partial

I think Match of The Day starts shortly and is supposedly only going to be 20 minutes long with no punditry or analysis. Not sure about match commentary.

I get a strong sense that the BBC no longer retains much respect by the public generally. The license fee system is a hot topic all of its own and more and more people refuse to pay it.

It looks like the BBC have tied themselves up in knots over this and are desperate to resolve it. But with such a stark clash of views and principles and the government leaning on them then one wonders how.

there was no commentary, to be honest I do like it that way.

Haven’t heard it; is that a new word custom-made for Harry, or was the definition just expanded to fit?

It's because South Park ridiculed Harry, and that was on the front of the book that was lampooned in South Park. Everyone on Twitter were literally taking the piss out of Harry because he was complaining about being taken the piss out of. Sorry about my language in explaining this
