I do the cooking 99% of the time.........much easier to impress with a lot less work. We're getting on a bit right enough.

There. That should help you understand.
Consider yourself very fortunate that you did not accompany the showing with suggestions. That would have resulted in your wearing the dinner, not cooking it.

Worked out great ….She loved the meal I made her
Sent her out this morning gave her a 100 peso note and said bring me back something for lunch and keep the change..
She still not back.
Was that too much cash I gave her?
