France beat Croatia in an electrifying game and I must say, they deserved the victory, although Croatia ran their legs off.
Final score France 4 Croatia 2
Some great photos from the final

Everybody but the French were railing for Croatia! So sad to see the Cup going to France
Excuse me my unpolitacally correct appraisal: Did France win or it was Africa?
Very few real French, by trhe way.

Are you referring to the black players in the French team?
Are you referring to the black players in the French team?
Yes, of course. However, if you apply the legal aspect, they surely are French. But not the traditional french.
As regards race, there are many hints that shows that blacks have a stronger physical structure than the whites. Even Hitler noted this in the famous Olympic Games of 1936.

Jesse Owens won the gold in the 100-m. dash, after setting a new record for that race the day before. Before the week was up, he had won at the long jump and the 200-m. dash, and helped bring a relay team to first place too.
Hitler famously refused to congratulate Jesse Owens; as TIME explained in the same story, a prominent Nazi theory to explain why the U.S. was beating the host nation so much was "that Negroes are not really people".
Hitler regarded Negroes, Jews, homosexuals and other that didn't conform to the 'Aryan race', as not worthy of the human race in fact.
By your logic Carlos , the England team along with many others, would be thrown into the same pot.
I know the history as well. But was only an observation. I do not think that negroes are an inferior race. But phisically they are more fitted to high performances.
Arnold Toynbee have had a theory, he called "Incitation and response". When for many centuries, perhaps millenials, a people has to fight with the forces of nature without the resources of a "developed civilization", you became stronger than other peoples. At least in the physical aspect.
Please be aware that I do not share the opinion of Hitler. As a member of a Latin race, (if we can say this) I would be considered inferior to the German aryans. So, it does not make me happy.
However, there are certain features that Germanic races have, and Latin races lack. This is undeliable. All races gives particular, outstanding good virtues to humanity.
Oh shit, we need to invent another sport in order to get rid of the gap between the end of the Copa del Mundo and the start of the new season? Does anyone know what happened to Wimbledon?

This should make an interesting read for you Carlos
We know how to sing, even if we didn't make it
I don't think there were Wales, Scotland and England in the Youth Olympic Games - just the United Kingdom.
Yesterday the Games were over and despite three drawbacks, the President of the Olympic Committee said he was enthusiast with the Games in Buenos Aires and defined the city 'a strong candidate' for the Olympic Games in 2032.
What were the three things that didn't go so well?
1. A high manager of the International Olympic Committee died of severe atrial fibrillation when attending a basketball match. A witness said that he was unconscious on the tribune for a few minutes before someone noticed it, and that when the doctors came, they came walking. He was resuscitated twice, but finally died at the Argerich Hospital.
2. The Olympic Torch burning at the Olympic Village in Villa Soldati shut down unexpectedly on last Tuesday due to an unspecified gas issue. The cause has not yet been determined.
3. The puppet of the mascot of the game, the leopard Pandi, could not be sold because the importer failed to import it under the correct regimen (where they would get the green stamp for imported goods). The only way to let 350 kg of puppets leave Customs was to not make them available for sale. From the Games they said that the mascot was never meant for sale, just as a gift for athletes and their families. However, the mascot is historically the best selling piece of merchandising at the Games and it was listed in the price list of the merchandising store for a solid 1500 ARS (about 40 USD), so I bet the importer is not that much happy with it.
Could have it been more Argentinian than that?
There is a definite lack of defibrillators in this country and if one had been available where that man unfortunately died, he may have been saved.
We only compete as independent nations in football tournaments , given that we were the founders of the International Board. Having said that we ( the Scots ) haven't been competing anywhere for a while...
Maybe we will win the 6 Nations rugby this year...

#3 : An absurd SNAFU that affected both vendors and souvenir seekers;
#2 : Embarrassing but not fatal;
#1 : Inexcusable and unforgettable by the people making decisions about future games.
