New Gallery images not posting

New gallery images are currently not posting due to a technical problem. Once this is resolved we'll update this post.

This error has now been fixed.

For those interested, Google has changed its policy for using their Google Maps APIs and the Gallery feature has a geolocation aspect which is inextricably linked to Google maps. IE it needs an up to date API key to function correctly.

Their new policy allows up to 25,000 Google Maps calls per month, free of charge, but since this is a small forum where maps are not a highly significant feature, the chances of us reaching that limit in the given time frame are zero.

No you're quite right. It's 1Mb on forum posts and 5 mb on gallery
