The BA Times reports today:
“UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson is evaluating the possibility of paying homage in Buenos Aires to fallen soldiers of the 1982 Malvinas/Falkland Islands War between Britain and Argentina.
”Johnson will visit Buenos Aires for the G20 Foreign Affairs Ministers Summit to be held May 20 to 21 at Argentina’s Foreign Ministry.
“The Foreign Secretary’s tight schedule remains open to modifications but he is contemplating the idea, diplomatic sources told La Nación.
“Anglo-Argentine relations are enjoying a renaissance of sorts following two years of cooperation in a number of areas including, and particularly, the humanitarian mission to identity Argentine soldiers buried near Darwin.”
