Argentina isn't alone in selling milk in bags instead of bottles. Milk is still sold in bags in some parts of Canada, especially in Eastern Canada.

I think most of the extracurricular activities involved icemen. Milkmen didn’t usually come into the house. Lots of kids looked suspiciously like that big guy carrying huge blocks of ice.
