Hi Bigboxer
I recently bought a 3 port HDMI switch from Megatronica in Olivos and it works just great.
They're usually around AR$300 or so.

I have 1 idea for you. If you look a good HDMI splitters u can use something rewiews from experts. Now I am lokking for splitter too ( so I got here ). Before I buy I wanna to read something commentaries about this splitters. So, the plan is next:
1) look rewiews
2)choose 3-4 item for you
3) Find forums about this items
4) choose 1 splitter
If you interesting I entered into Google " hdmi splitters reviews " . You can add "best" if you want. But I dont reccomend .
Firsltly , Bring your attention to such brands as FosPower and OREI, but you can find better ones.
So, I think that "Any man who wants splitter can find splitter"
Good luck!

Jinjer , buying electronics in Argentina is complicated . many items are not available , so we have to see what is available on mercado libre

It's sad to hear this :-(. But the Internet is available to you! I will not advise you how to buy (I did not advise before). I just suggested how to choose the right product.
Are these laws of your parliament? disgustingly....

.....and the decision is narrowed down to the typical 5 different products all Chinese imports of dubious quality

After you search in the search engine?

Jinjer , the mail service is very poor and electronics never make it to your door...

This is unfortunate ... I'm sorry. And you can pick up from the post yourself?

Only if they arrive, and there’s no guarantee they will. Here in Argentina, sadly, most transactions are face-to-face. It’s good to do what you said and read reviews, but in the end you can only choose from what’s available locally.

There's a surprising amount of electronics available locally now and the HDMI switch that I bought does exactly what it's supposed to do.
Clearly, prices for a lot of stuff vary wildly and on Mercadolibre you need to really shop around. In fact, I had some good luck at Christmas when I bought a new graphics card and discovered that it was cheaper here than on Amazon in the US and significantly so. That may be because Bitcoin mining isn't so popular here of course, but the difference was around US$200, a rarity in fact.
As for door to door, I still don't trust it.

So, ok. I understand. But we must to help the author of topic. I searched the Internet and reviewed a lot of sites. As I say earlier, you can write in google something like hdmi splitters reviews . U can use my link. I found many sites like this where very informatively described goods. Specifically, this site referred to the Amazon, but I think u can find sites who reffered to Mercadolibre.
Alternative option. Check Youtube. Then look at a couple of reviews of the guys (maybe even from Argentina) who do not use advertising (it's best not so popular). You can write to them directly on YouTube the questions you are interested in. I think they are interested in hanging their rating and will gladly answer you.
As for me, I watch this guys :
- I think this guy is a Spanish-speakerIn conclusion... If I really helped you then I was glad to do it
