Oh that's long gone the psst thing.

How often do members use the forum search function and what do you think about adding improvements to the search function.

The extended search with a search dropdown. The modular plugin allows your visitors to find the right topic, the right user or something else in no time at all. The search does not require reloading the page but works in the background via AJAX.

The plugin works on desktop computers as well as on smartphone devices. In addition, developers can very easily display further search results such as shop products or lexicon entries in the search by developing a plugin.

Added member registration date to side-bar.

We're carrying out some maintenance today, so if the forum appears a little slow or temporarily looks odd, this is the reason.

Like button is now green and dislike is now red, so that they're easier to see.

When quoting a member's post, their avatar wasn't showing in the quote.

That's now been fixed, like this.

The ranks have now been changed from the rather dull descriptions we had previously, but if anyone is miffed at the changes, please let us know.

A very popular feature of the WoltLab forum software has just been updated for use with our version. It's free of charge too, which is always good.

Known as Tim's Chat, it's what it says really and allows members to chat through the forum in real time, much like a chat room of old or a group chat on Whatsapp or similar.

It compliments PMs and is much more flexible that the Shoutbox.

What do members think about trying it?

To receive notifications of when you are mentioned (like Splinter for example), click the cogs>settings>notifications and then select whichever dropdown you want.

At the moment notifications are by email and/or the bell symbol at the top of the page.

Increased the maximum file size for post attachments (images etc) from 1Mb to 2Mb.

We'll try it at that level for a while and if it's not enough, it could be bumped up a tad.

Google + links removed.

Google+ has been terminated and therefore the links would be useless.
