Today is workers' day and also day of the constitution apparently, not to mention Mayday.
My inbox is full of feliz dia! this feliz dia! that, but I'm taking advantage of what will be a day of deserted streets by riding to the center, doing drop-offs in Vicente Lopez, various other places in Zona Norte and finishing in Bella Vista just after lunch.
I'm hoping that I'll get some afternoon jobs too, since I messaged all my contacts to say that I work on Saturdays and holidays.
No rest for the beast today as she needs to pay for herself.

What is workers day? I don't remember having that day off in the UK. All the supermarkets are shut.

Another excuse to get paid for doing nothing.

It was the day of the dog earlier this week.
From what I've seen these holidays aren't recognised by the self employed. Might be different in the capital.

Now it's The Year Of The Cat.

¡FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS!
Are you having a special lunch/dinner?
-
-
Yes, the wrong side of 21
I'm doing an asado with choripan, mollejas (1.5 kgs donated by mother in law!), lomo and whatever else I can lay my hands on.
Beer and wine will also be served.

Splinter .......I need to tell u something from the bottom of my heart, not trolling or posting feel good crap: only a real dude can have birthday on 18. June, a beautiful, a perfect creature, a gift to mankind!
Hahaha
It also happens to be the anniversary of the battle of Waterloo (1815) and Paul McCartney's birthday, so I'm in good company.
And Mercadolibre really surprised me with my birthday present arriving bang on time!

Today I went to RENAPAR, the registry of persons on Alem near the Casa Rosada, to carry out a rubber stamp job (tramite) for a client.
I don't enjoy these at all, but they do pay quite well. Anyway, the documents I printed out were for the registry in a completely different town, so they wouldn't process it, even though the registry in the other town is closed and the lawyer had done her homework.
I then collect some envelopes nearby and did my regular drops in Vte Lopez, San Isidro and Bella Vista, all in all about 100kms and they pay very well.
I then attempted, for the third time, to post an important letter to the UK, only to find the post office closed, so I'll try again tomorrow.
A mixed bag, really, so how were other members' day?

Not as varied or busy as yours!
Slept late.
Caught up on news.
Telephone business meeting.
Grilled chicken for late lunch.
Laundry ( it’s Monday, remember?).
Birthday call to my brother.
An hour’s walk through the fallen leaves.
Two hours to read.
Evening news and snack with Malbec.
Watching Borgen now, on Netflix.
