Pickled pigs’ feet, eels, frog legs, fricaseed pink flamingo wings....
Mini pizzas tonight, which are very handy when you're in a rush.
Did you make them or buy them in? Don't think I've seen such a thing here.....mind you I'm not that great a fan of pizza so I don't pay much attention to them.
Would far rather have toasted cheese on sliced bread with slice tomato and onion on top.
You can buy them in most supermarkets as extra mini or midi size.
In Wales, I think we used to call toasted cheese on bread, Welsh Rarebit.
This morning I went to Carrefour at around 0930 to get some last minute baguettes before the crowds rolled in.
Anyway, I was on a winning streak, found a till with only a couple of people waiting, but nothing was happening and we all had booze to buy.
Guess what? They were waiting till 10 am so that we could buy our wine and counting down the minutes.
I nearly put the wine back as it felt such a bizarre situation. I don't believe this happens in Cap Fed.
Today I finished my pet project and it's a job I've been meaning to do for months, but because we use it so much...
The parrilla was in a bit of a state and in spite of keeping it covered by a huge weatherproof tarpaulin when not in use, it still goes rusty. In fact the base, which holds firebricks had rusted so badly that it was in danger of literally falling to the floor, mid-asado. Can you imagine?
I completely stripped it down, replaced the base with galvanised steel (from a zingueria) and extra cross member supports, painted it with anti-rust paint several times and a gloss coat for good measure and replaced the wooden side support.
The grill part, I went hammer and tongs on with Adri and you can't imagine the elbow grease required to get rid of years of asado from the grills.
Anyway, if the weather is kind to us on Friday, inauguration will take place at 1800 sharp, where English ale and chorizos will be the order of the evening.

Well done. You are very handy!
Good job! We will be hungrily smelling those chorizos on friday afternoon!
Looking good.
Last made a BBQ on Xmas eve only because I had to. It's been too flippin' hot since, hence why the freezer is full of meat. I prefer to make BBQ in the afternoon or early evening especially outwith the summer months.
We also have a Tromen wood oven which is great for cooking pork rib slowly. I can also use it for cold smoking fillets of merluza.
My Google review of Correo Argentino and yes, it really is like this.
I hope they don’t know where you live. But of course that is a crazy thought, because how would they have the Olivia address of their critic Marc Thomas?
Oh! That’s right - they ARE the #€+¥~?&! Correo Argentina!
Another normal day in BA
I wonder how many years ago these demonstrations became so common that they are largely ignored. Do they achieve anything?
What was the point of this one? I had trouble hearing much beyond the furious woman repeatedly getting in the face of the reporter to call him a liar. Was the Coca Cola banner relevant?

The K money will fuel all the most aggressive uprisings from now until October. They know thatif Macri prevails, they will finish all in jail.
Ancients Romans used to say: "Mors tua, Vita mea"
Currently on a GWR train from Gloucester to Gatwick via Swindon.
My plane landed today at 0735 and I was in Adriana's arms by 0805.
That's a record!
Gotta love Presidential election years!
Welcome back!
Customs was a breeze, not least because they all looked bored out of their wits, fortunately.
