Still languishing in second place, Argentina seems forever cursed with a double digit inflation rate which the current government appears unable to conquer.

With salary increases and utility bills going through the roof, isn't it time they got a handle on this monster?

Is there something that Peru, Ecuador and Belize are doing /not doing, from which we can learn?

Inflation in Bolivia was around 25% in July with the current government running out of dollars due to public spending.

Surely this show that Milei was right?

Also, Bolivia is one of the poorest countries in the region and is heading for a general election in a few days.

I’m not following. Bolivia’s inflation and dearth of essentials means that Milei was right about what?

To reduce public spending among other things.
