Hospitals seeking replacement doctors in Venezuela

Doctors are leaving Venezuela in droves -- an estimated 22,000 so far. Why? Because of shortages of medicines and supplies? Because they are paid about $10/month ("the price of two chickens")? Nope.

Doctors are leaving Venezuela because their lives are threatened by the relatives of he very patients they are treating. "Uncle Riccardo dies, you die."
