What does the Kim trip to China really mean?

  • An interesting take on Kims surprise visit to China.

    This is what I believe:

I've been looking for an opinion piece on this surprise meeting and the conclusions are interesting. I see NK bolstering their ties with China and when and if the Trump/Kim summit takes place, I feel that the objective is simply to put Trump in his place and make him look like the fool he really is. Can NK really back track on so many years of sabre rattling and anti US ranting? I don't think so and with China backing them, not forgetting the tariff wars with China, I feel a trap is being laid for Trump.

  • China certainly has an axe to grind. Or several. Among other things, the USA's abdication as the world's leader has made room for China to take that role. What better way to start?
