When I was a child, I wanted to cook something for my Mother, who had flu. I retrieved two pans, and in one, placed dried pasta with no water. In the other, I put an egg, and watched it roll around. Fortunately, I was too small to have seen that people cooking have to turn knobs to produce heat.
Perhaps Italian landlords should consider renting only to Americans under 3 feet tall?

I think you’re right. I was here way before the Internet and am pretty sure we ate back then (but did we cook or eat it raw? - can’t recall).
