Looks like Milei is confident Trump is going to back him on the Falklands.
Apparently, he will address the nation on Thursday on National TV.
This was in The Independent this morning -
Another damned war. Just the thing for Argentina's inflation.
And if Milei thinks trump is going to back him, he hasn't noticed that the US is depleting its munitions in trump's war on Iran.
Obviously a vote catching tactic. More chance of him getting a short back and sides than getting the Falklands.
It's nothing more than political posturing. But it could send a signal to Westminster to finally increase the defence budget, especially since the Royal Navy is a shadow of its former self.
The last time Argentina took a forceful stance on the matter, it ended in a dictatorship. I just hope the man drops the subject for a while. It also seems he is trying to drag Trump into it, of all world leaders... Wish us luck!

All much ado about nothing methinks. A case of Milei looking for votes from the less fortunate and Trump taking the piss.

He may have a point about the UK being in decline, from what I can see. As for Argentina booming? Pull the other one!
The worry is that the UK navy is in a but of a mess.
The only saving grace is that the Argentine forces are in a worse state.
Not sure how many F-16s have actually arrived. But they are no match for the Typhoons that are based in Port Stanley.
The Argentine armed forces are a joke compared to the UK, they admitted it themselves not that long ago. All they're doing is making a fool of themselves. Milei has obviously been sucked in by Trump's tactics on how to win the next election. One thing I noticed is how much the media here see England as the 'enemy' rather than the British.
