Sad news.
Yes big headline news. Must admit apart from the music side of her life I didn't realise how much good she gave to the world especially to children and the poor. She certainly deserves the respect she's been attracting. 
Her songs are timeless - Jolene, Islands in the Stream (written by The Bee Gees), I Will Always Love You and 9 to 5. She came from very humble beginnings being one of 12 children born in a tiny shack in Tennessee.
