Probably made from the same Argie leaves I use to brew my daily pot of Taragui tea. It tastes just as strong as the Yorkshire tea leaves I brought back from the UK.

Lipton's Yellow Label Black tea
It is the tea I recognize as the most available in US. They one I remeber drinking there. Also the same Lipton tea you can buy in the supermarket here in Argentina.

It is just the most generic and basic tea that is always available in US. Also something people use to make pitchers of ice tea.

Lipton definitely scores high for iced tea. Maybe holds up against dilution from the ice better than more delicate teas. Now that you mention it, I don't mind Lipton iced tea at all. I just don't like it for hot tea. Maybe because I load up iced tea with sugar, lemon, and a mint sprig.

I survive on Taragui Clasico and basic Taragui and have got used to them by using two or three bags at a time because they are quite weak. British tea bags are much stronger.

Give Taragui tea leaves a go. Much better than the bags which I also use when in a hurry.
