My first motoring offence - it's expensive!

    I usually know where all the police/traffic checkpoints are, but last week I was caught out. You can't turn left across a major avenue unless there's a sign or separate lane for that purpose. Anyway, I got nabbed by a patrol for this heinous crime and fined $363,360 which I get 50% discount on if paid within 30 days. As I was getting back on my bike I told the traffic bloke to catch some real criminals and fucked off, furious.

    First time ever, but dozens that I've got away with!

    It's a pain but the wife's hairdresser got done on a drink-driving charge recently. One glass of champagne ( according to him) and a 1.2 million fine.

    The province is zero tolerance...

    Nah, I was banged to rights, not a leg to stand on.

    As for drinking, I never mix it at all on the bike. I used to in the car, but we Uber now if going out.
