According to the Economist Intelligence Unit, the top 10 most liveable cities in 2026are
1. Copenhagen
2. Vienna
3. Melbourne
4. Sydney
5. Zurich

Do you agree? Others you would like to see on the list?
Can't say I've been to them all but from those on the list Vancouver would easily be my first choice.
No idea why there are three Australian cities there. Sydney would come very low on my list. As for others....Stockholm.
We’ve never been to Adelaide, or to anywhere in Japan besides the Tokyo airport! Not that crazy about Melbourne, but loved Sydney.
As for the others, including Vancouver, all very nice but I would have to eliminate most because they have SNOW, which for me makes a place not so liveable.
My problem with Sydney is the same one as living here...they're too far away from Europe. To be honest, given a choice I'd just go back to living in the UK as the missus loves it.

By the time we get rid of all the assets at realistic prices we'll have kicked the bucket. 
You don’t know until you seriously look into what it would take —
Maybe if we were 20 years younger it would be a different story. If we didn't have the pets we'd commute between the two more regularly. That would be the ideal scenario.
