Accessing websites from abroad

    I am in Italy and I have been experiencing issues in accessing Argentinian websites from abroad.

    First, it was the website to digitally sign documents https://firmar.gob.ar/firmador/#/

    I am getting a DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error.


    The same happens with ICBC Home banking. The odd thing is that this behavior is not consistent. Most of the time I cannot access the websites, but they would randomly work. I think the issue may be Chrome, as when I try to access them from BRave Browser, 9 times out 10 they work.


    I can't really wrap my mind around this. Any insight, anyone?

    Have you tried going Incognito in Chrome? This often fixes this kind of issue.

    The Incognito mode fixed the issue with ICBC, but not with the Firmador.

    By the way, I am experiencing the same issue with Safari, which I never use. I don't understand if it is cookie-related or IP-related.

    Ask your husband, or any friend in Argentina, to install Tailscale on their machine. Set it as an exit node. You run TailScale on yours. Both setup with the same user group or just the same one-and-only login id. When you are connected, use the Argentina exit node in your TailScale connection setting. It will be better than a VPN to route all your traffic through your Argentina home internet provider. It is easy and nice GUI interface. I simplify, but still the documentation and chat Ai can help you.


    Also use DevTools in your Chrome or Firefox browser to watch each HTTP network step. I would probably use Curl to diagnose at the terminal command line early before getting frustrated
