Opportunist thieving has always happened here but reports of gun crime have become increasingly more common over all the years I've been here Thanks to the K regime who shipped out criminals from BA to live here.
The story below appeared yesterday and my first thought was it's bound to be drug related as they usually are. What was interesting is it happened not that far from where we stay. In fact we pass by where the body was found several times a week so know the area well especially as Nazarena stays not far from the murder scene.
It got even more interesting when we dropped her kids off last night after taking them home from church. Four police cars with lights flashing were parked up just a few doors down across the road from her house. When we asked her what was going on she shrugged her shoulders. I suspected it was to do with the body being found. My missus told her to let us know if she heard anything and we left it at that.
A couple of hours later she informed the missus the police were still there doing a search of the property. She knows, because her brother who stays a couple of doors down was asked by the police to be a witness as they carried out the search. If it's the house I think it is I always found it strange such a large well maintained detached house existed in that area. It certainly looks out of place amongst all the other simply built houses.
