Psychologists are talking about a phenomenon that is being called Ozempic Personality, referring to some shared characteristics among users of GLP-1 weight loss drugs. This is described as a kind of emotional blunting in users, some of whom lose interest in socializing, food, hobbies, etc. and/or reduced enthusiasm for, and reduced pleasure from, activities they formerly enjoyed.
(Not to be confused with “Ozempic Face,” a term used to describe the sunken cheeks and new wrinkles commonly noticed when a person looses weight very rapidly)
