    Can a home network include security cameras, television, internet etc all working off the same WIFI connection?

    The reason is to have each of the three machines able to copy paste files to any of the other three at any time? Or really to have one as a central file store where all others have access? instead of windows file sharing, Synthing is what I use to keep files well organized and backed-up in one place, while keeping only certain folders in the machines where they are needed. Across Windows, Mac and Linux and the phone

    Plus you should never playback media files across the network via windows file share. If that is the reason then instead a media server should be setup one machine.

    Yeah you need wifi. We have them in three different locations here so they can be monitored 24/7 from our mobiles. Can even see the ones they have in the foyer of the BA apartment using the same App.

    It's clever stuff. In fact, I set up a few WIFI cameras for a client last week and am considering buying a couple myself.
