I have been using Moovit for about a decade. It is very useful, indeed. However, the ads of the free version are rather annoying. If a bus is approaching and you have to check on the up if it would be yours, you often run out of time before the ads disappear. The main perk, for me, was that you can set up favorite destinations - I had a few addresses stored, and that it vibrated when you were two stops away from yours. However, the current version of Google Maps does the same, and there is no ad.
